An approachable, modern red from southern Italy. Founded in 1998, Cantine Ermes is a leading Sicilian wine cooperative from the Valle del Belìce in Trapani. Created by local growers from Santa Ninfa and Gibellina, it was established to rebuild the region after the 1968 earthquake and to strengthen the local winegrowing community. Aromas of plums, cherry jam and subtle spice. Soft, fruit-forward, and fresh, with ripe tannins and a crisp, elegant finish.
