This Bosch EXPERT R444 Metal Sanding Disc is supplied in 180mm diameter with a 36g (coarse) grit, making it well suited to demanding preparation tasks including deburring, rough blending and weld preparation on metal. The 36g grade provides fast, aggressive cutting action to clear heavy material quickly, whilst the disc's construction ensures a controlled and consistent grinding process throughout. Compatible with standard locking nut angle grinders via its 22.23mm bore, this disc requires use with a suitable backing pad. The semi-friable aluminium oxide abrasive grit is specifically engineered for use on carbon steel, mild steel, aluminium, non-ferrous metals and cast iron. Fully synthetic resin bonding on a stable vulcanised fibre backing delivers high work stability and optimal sanding results. Sold as a single disc.
