The Bosch HSS Reduced Shank Blacksmiths PointTeQ Drill Bit in 13.5mm delivers fast, reliable drilling in a versatile mid-range diameter. Well suited to clearance and pilot holes in alloyed and non-alloyed steel, non-ferrous metals, cast steel, cast iron, and plastics. The PointTeQ tip design is self-centering, preventing the bit from wandering at the start of each hole, and the increased drilling rate helps keep heat and wear to a minimum for sustained performance. The cylindrical shank is compatible with three-jaw drill chucks on drill stands and drill drivers. Built to DIN 338 standards with a Type N flute angle, the highly elastic body reduces breakage risk and the black-oxide coated flute promotes swift chip evacuation.
